Can Brody Climb + Ski Over 100 Hours for POW?

Longtime POW Alliance skier Brody Leven returns to Last Skier Standing, hoping to push beyond 100 consecutive hours of climbing and skiing. This will mirror the other seemingly endless part of his life: volunteer climate advocacy. With each step, he’s fundraising for POW.

Last Skier Standing

Every hour, on the hour, participants climb and ski a 1200-foot lap on Maine’s Black Mountain until only one person remains. Brody set the record in 2022 with 65 consecutive hours, raising over $5,000 for POW. He managed to sleep for 6 minutes. He returns on Friday, February 6th, hoping to ski into Tuesday, having climbed over 120,000 feet in support of POW's climate action.

You can support Brody’s effort to push his limit as an athlete and advocate by donating to POW, where we turn outdoor passion into climate action.

A first-generation skier, Brody found a 210-foot hill in Ohio at age 8 through an after-school program. Simultaneously, his climate advocacy journey began. Unaware these would remain at his core 30 years later, his volunteering has no end because the planet always needs an advocate.

He has testified to the EPA, met with Congress in Washington DC, spoken as a trusted messenger at countless events, and dedicated his platform to advocacy. Today, his volunteer climate journey continues indefinitely.
